The identity of this citizen, confirmed by the Hana Human Rights Organization, is "Jafar Gardi," a married father of two from the village of "Shinabad," a district of Piranshahr.

According to received reports, he was shot and seriously injured by military forces without prior warning while returning from the Oshnavieh border, carrying no goods.

Mr. Gardi was transferred to Piranshahr Hospital for medical treatment and underwent surgery.
