A Kolbar Injured Due to Beating and Shooting by Border Guards

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: On Saturday, "June 29, 2024," a Kolbar identified as "Shirzad Chavoshini," 34 years old from the village of Varchak in the Sardasht district, was arrested by border guards at the Hengejal border in Baneh, beaten, and then targeted with a pellet gun by these forces, resulting in severe injuries.

According to a source, the border guards, after beating this Kolbar, confiscated his money and mobile phone and took them with them.

The source added that Mr. Chavoshini was severely injured in the thigh and abdomen due to this shooting and was transferred to one of the medical centers in Baneh for medical treatment.
