Two brothers from Sanandaj were arrested by security forces

According to the report of Hana's colleagues: on Monday, January 1, 2024, two brothers named "Mortaza and Ibrahim Mohammadi" from Sanandaj were arrested by the security forces.
Hana's colleagues, citing an informed source, added that the security forces raided the house of Morteza Mohammadi located in Hassan Abad neighborhood of Sanandaj without presenting any legal documents and arrested him and took him to an unknown place.
Also, colleagues of Hana Human Rights Organization continued to add; that Ebrahim Mohammadi, who went to the first investigation branch of Sanandaj Revolutionary Court to follow the fate and condition of his brother, was arrested by the security forces.
At the time of publication of this news, there is no information about the reason for the arrest and the whereabouts of these two brothers.
It should be noted that earlier on Monday, December 25, 2022, Mohammad Jaafar Mohammadi, Morteza and Ibrahim's father, was arrested by the security forces in his private home located in Haji Abad neighborhood of Sanandaj without a court order and accompanied by violence.
Morteza Mohammadi was also arrested by the security forces on February 20, 2023, and was released from Sanandaj prison on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
