Additionally, 3 kolbars were arrested this month.
The names of the kolbars who lost their lives are as follows: Sina Rasoulzadeh from Sardasht, Vahid Qaderpour from Saqqez, Salar Ahmadi from Sardasht, Ata Rostampour from Sardasht, Jalal Sohrabi from Baneh, and Himen Ahmadi from Saqqez.

It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of 2024, a total of 242 kolbars have been killed or injured. Of this number, 32 kolbars were killed by border forces of the Islamic Republic, and 18 kolbars were arrested.
In May, as in previous months, the police and border guards of the Islamic Republic inflicted heavy casualties on kolbars who undertake this arduous, exhausting, and hazardous work to earn a livelihood. Instead of creating employment opportunities for Kurdish citizens in the provinces of Kurdistan, the Islamic Republic has militarized the region, attacking kolbars daily and causing casualties.
