A Kurdish refugee woman in Italy was detained and her fate is unknown

According to Hana human rights organization colleagues: a Kurdish asylum seeker who was planning to enter Italy was arrested by the Italian police at the border of this country and taken to an unknown place.
According to this report, on December 31, 2023, Maison Majidi from Sanandaj, along with a number of other refugees, reached the shores of Croton in Italy by boat and entered the country, but the Italian police arrested Maison Majidi and So far, there is no news about her.
It should be mentioned that "Maison Majidi" is a women's rights activist, a political activist and also a member of Hana human rights organization, who has cooperated with Hana for a long time.
Hana Human Rights Organization while expressing great concern about the condition of Mrs. Majidi and the lack of news about her, demands the immediate release of Mrs. Maison Majidi and help to settle her in a safe place.
Hana Human Rights Organization will follow up on her situation through legal means and asks all human rights organizations to support this Kurdish refugee and demand her immediate release.
