201 KOlbers were killed and wounded in the first 3 months of 2024


Hana: Hana Human Rights Organization statistics center presents the statistics of the deaths of Kolbers and Kurdish traders in the first 3 months of 2024, in different regions of Kurdistan provinces, which have been registered in this statistics center.
According to these statistics, in the months of January, February and March 2024, a total of 201 Kolbers, including 12 children, were killed and injured while carrying a load.

Out of a total of 201 people, 22 people were killed and 179 people were injured, which are:
Kolbers were killed:
14 Kolbers were killed by direct fire from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.
7 Kolbers were killed due to natural events (cold, freezing, falling from heights).
1 Kolber was killed due to a driving accident due to a chase
Wounded:
149 Kolbers were injured by direct fire from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran
10 Kolbers were beaten and injured by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic
8 Kolbers were injured due to natural disasters (cold and freezing, falling from heights).
9 Kolbers were injured as a result of a driving accident caused by the pursuit by the forces of the Islamic Republic
3 Kolbers were injured due to mine explosion
12 Kolbers were also arrested by the forces of the border regiment.
In the first 3 months of 2024, a total of 12 children were killed and wounded

The highest number of casualties (killed and wounded) of Kolbers in the last 3 month is related to the cities and villages whose names are as follows:

Paveh 43 people, Saqqez 29 people, Javanrud 23 people, Baneh 22 people, Marivan 22 people, Salas Babajani 18 people, Sanandaj 13 people, Sardasht 10 people, Dalahu 6 people, Divandere 5 people, Ravansar 5 people, Kamiyaran 4 people, Piranshahr 4 people, Bukan 3 people, Sarvabad 3 people and the cities of Selmas, Mahabad, Takab and Shahin Dej one person each.

Kolbari is a phenomenon resulting from systematic poverty and unemployment in Kurdistan, and people take refuge in Kolbari out of necessity, while the government officials do not make any effort to solve the livelihood problems of the people of Kurdistan, but they have also made the killing of Kolbaran a regular news and this call It is dangerous for the people of Kurdistan. The police forces, the IRGC and border guards of the Islamic Republic shoot directly at Kolubran and kill or injure a number of them daily.
