"Sasan Chaman Ara" was sentenced to imprisonment and a fine

According to Hana's colleagues; On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Sasan Chamanara, an artist and citizen from Ilam and one of the women, life, freedom revolutionary movement detaines, was charged by the first branch of the revolutionary court of this city on the charge of "propaganda against the regime in favor of hostile groups and media" for three months Imprisonment and payment of 20 million Tomans fine.
This Kurdish artist was arrested by the security forces on January 17, 2024, and transferred to the detention center of the Ilam Intelligence Department, and finally on January 24, 2024, he was released temporary on bail until the end of the legal proceedings.
Sasan Chaman-Ara was previously arrested by the government forces on October 7, 2022, for participating in the protests, and after the interrogation was completed, he was transferred to Tehran prison and finally on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, with a heavy bail of 500 million tomans was temporarily released from Tehran prison.
It should be noted that Mr. Chaman-Ara was sentenced to 5 years in prison by Branch 29 of the Revolution Court of Tehran headed by Judge "Seyd Ali Mazloum" on the charges of "Assembly and collusion against national security and propaganda against the regime" and this sentence was confirmed by the appeals court. .
