Kurdish teacher Sivan Ebrahimi was sentenced to 11 years in prison

Hana: Sivan Ebrahimi, a Kurdish language teacher and a member of the board of directors of the Socio-cultural Association (Nojin), was charged by the first branch of Sanandaj Revolution Court, presided over by Judge Mohammad Karemi, on the charge of "forming groups and gangs with the intention of disrupting the security of the country to 10 years and on charge of propagandizing against the regime one year in prison and a total of 11 years in prison . The verdict issued on Saturday "December 2, 2023" and has been communicated to Mr. Ebrahimi.

In August 2023, Sivan Ebrahimi by the 106th branch of Sanandaj criminal court was sentenced to one year imprisonment, exile to Dizilabad prison in Kermanshah, and 40 lashes on the charge of "disturbing public order" . On Saturday, December 2, 2003, the sentence of imprisonment and flogging had been upheld by the Kurdistan Appeals Court and the sentence of exile to Diesel Abad prison in Kermanshah was overturned. 
It should be noted that the mentioned person was arrested on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, without a court order, and then on February 13, 2023, he was temporarily released from Sanandaj prison after posting bail.
Earlier, this Kurdish language teacher had gone to Sanandaj court to learn about his wife Zara Mohammadi's case on January 3, 2023, he was arrested by the government forces and released from prison on January 5, 2023. 
Sivan Ebrahimi is 29 years old and from Kamyaran.
