According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: on the morning of Wednesday, November 1, 2023, a construction worker with the identity of "Sayad Osmani", 30 years old, the son of Mohammad, a resident of the workers' town and a native of Mingol village, Soma Bradost district, Urmia, was injured due to falling from Height .
According to received reports; said person fell from a height while working in "Band" region due to the lack of work safety and suffered a serious head injury and is currently hospitalized in the special care department of a hospital in Urmia.
It should be mentioned; In terms of job security, Iran is ranked 102 in the world. In Iran, workers are engaged in hard work with low and insignificant salaries, and in doing so, fatigue and lack of security cause such accidents. However, there is no labour insurance policy for these workers.
