Death sentence for a Kurdish citizen from Kamyaran been  called by Sanandaj prosecutor

According to a report by the International Network of Iranian Kurdistan Human Rights, death sentenced been called for the second time for Kurdish citizen from Kamyaran named Hossein Kamangar.

In the second session of the court, the Sanandaj prosecutor called for the execution of political prisoner Hossein Kamangar. The second hearing of Mr. Hossein Kamangar, a political activist from Kamyaran city, was held in the First Branch of the Sanandaj Court on Monday, February 15. In this court, the Sanandaj city prosecutor's office, at the request and pressure of the Ministry of Intelligence, has demanded the execution of this civil activist. The charge of "Baghi" (Armed uprising against the government and the basis of the Islamic Republic of Iran) And membership and connection with one of the Kurdish parties opposed to the Islamic regime of Iran has been announced. Earlier, the Kamyaran Prosecutor's Office, headed by Judge Jafari, had demanded the execution of this citizen. It should be noted that Hossein Kamangar was arrested and beaten by Kamyaran intelligence agents at his home in 2018, without a court order, and was transferred to the Sanandaj Intelligence Press Headquarters.
