A labor activist from Marivan was arrested when he attempted to leave Turkey

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: Mikael Sediqi, a labor activist and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Construction Workers and Master Craftsmen, from the city of Marivan, was arrested while leaving Turkey and was transferred to one of the refugee camps in this country.
It should be mentioned that Mikael Sedighi is one of the well-known labor activists in Kurdistan province and also throughout Iran.
He has been summoned and arrested several times by the security apparatus of the Islamic Republic of Iran due to his civil and trade union activities in support of workers.
Hana Human Rights Organization expresses its deep concern about the condition and whereabouts of this labor activist.
