A Kurdish citizen was sentenced to death on charge of spying for Israel

According to Hana's colleagues: a Kurdish citizen with the identity of "Shahin Wasaf" from Selmas was sentenced to death by the third branch of the Revolutionary Court of Orumiyeh on the charge of "spying for Israel" after a year of detention.
The sentence issued on Tuesday " October 3, 2023" was delivered to him in the central prison of Orumiyeh.
Shahin Wasaf along with his cousin Nasser Wasaf were arrested on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 by the IRGC intelligence forces in their private home.
According to an informed source, these two citizens have been subjected to the most severe physical and mental torture in the detention center of Orumiyeh Intelligence Agency for several months in order to force confessions and accept the charge of "spying for Israel".
This source further added that Nasser Wasaf was released from Orumiyeh prison after one year of imprisonment.
It should be noted that these two citizens were deprived of the right to have a lawyer and any human rights during their detention.
