A worker from Saqqez died in Kurdistan Region due to a work accident

According to the reports received by the colleagues of Hana Human Rights Organization: on Thursday, May 11, 2023, a Kurdish worker from Saqqez, named "Hiva Hosseini" son of Abbas, in the city of Suleimaniyeh, Kurdistan Region, died due to falling from a half-finished building.
According to received reports; He is married and father of two children.
It should be mentioned; Poverty and unemployment have increased the phenomenon of migrant workers in Kurdistan, and despite the lack of job security in Iraqi Kurdistan, workers with low and meager salaries are engaged in hard work, and due to this fatigue and lack of security, they cause such accidents, and despite this work insurance.
