Sanandaj / Women's rights activist Maryam Sadeghi sentenced to one year suspended imprisonment
HANA: On Monday (January 17, 2022), Maryam Sadeghi, a women's rights activist and member of the Commission for the Establishment of Labor Organizations, was sentenced to one year suspended imprisonment by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Saeedi, for spreading propaganda against the state and creating disturbances.
It should be noted that Maryam Sadeghi was arrested on October 23, 2021, by security forces on charges of collaborating with Kurdish opposition parties in the Iranian government, propaganda against the regime in cyberspace, participating in International Women's Day celebrations, and causing unrest. After 12 days of detention in solitary confinement at the Sanandaj Information Administration, she was released on bail .
