Kavousi was transferred from Evin Prison to Karaj Police Detention Center on Wednesday (October 6, 2021) and was held in a miserable condition. She called her family on Saturday (October 9th) to announce her transfer to Kachuei Prison in Karaj for unknown reasons.

Mojgan Kavousi, a Kurdish writer and researcher from Kelardasht, Mazandaran province, who was sentenced to 76 months in prison by the Iranian judiciary on charges of "propaganda against the regime," "encouraging people to disrupt public order," and "membership of Kurdish opposition parties" has been condemned.
