Sarvabad / Detention of a political activist by security agencies

On Monday, June 7, 2021, Barzan Mohammadi was arrested by security forces.
Barzan Mohammadi was a former prisoner, and security agents raided his brother's private home in the village of Gushkhani in Sarvabad County and arrested him and transferred him to an unknown location.
The exact reason for the citizen's arrest has not yet been announced, and his detention was carried out arbitrarily, but he has recently joined the "No to the Islamic Republic" campaign.
The Kurdish citizen was sentenced to six years in prison by Branch 10 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, headed by a hardline government judge, "Salavati", in August 2018 on charges of propaganda against the regime and disrupting national security.The sentence was reduced to 3 years in a lower court
