The execution of a prisoner from Sahneh in the Central Prison of Rasht

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as “Shirali Tarkeshband,” son of Morad and a resident of the village of “Siah Choqa” in Sahneh County, was carried out in Lakan Central Prison in Rasht.
According to received reports, this prisoner had previously been arrested on charges related to “drug offenses” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic.
Shirali Tarkeshband was married and had children.
