Majid Karimi has been acquitted of the alleged charges in the Sanandaj Appeals Court.

According to received reports: Majid Karimi, the Secretary of the Kurdish Teachers' Association in Sanandaj and Kalatarzan, has been acquitted of the alleged charges in the Kurdistan Appeals Court.
Mr. Karimi had previously been sentenced to three months in prison by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on charges of "propaganda against the system," and the sentence was converted to a fine of 8 million tomans.
This labor activist was arrested by security forces on June 1, 2022, and after a week of detention in solitary confinement at the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency, he was released on bail from the city’s prison on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
