Re-Arrest of Omid Mazloom, Brother of Executed Political Prisoner Mohsen Mazloom

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, today, Sunday, November 17, 2024, Omid Mazloom, a resident of the village of “Atmish” in the suburbs of Mahabad, was re-arrested for the second time by agents of the Intelligence Department and transferred to an undisclosed location.
It is worth noting that Omid Mazloom was previously arrested on July 25, 2023, by the Ministry of Intelligence forces and was later released on bail of 1 billion tomans.
So far, no information is available about the reason for his arrest or the charges brought against him.
