Execution of a Prisoner in Miandoab Prison

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: On the morning of Monday, December 16, 2024, the execution of a prisoner identified as “Behzad Seyedi,” married and father of one child from the city of Bukan, was carried out in Miandoab Prison.
According to Hana’s sources:
This prisoner had been transferred from Ward 1 of Bukan Prison to Miandoab Prison for the execution of his death sentence.
According to received reports, Behzad Seyedi was previously arrested on charges of “premeditated murder” of a citizen identified as “Milad Salehzadeh” and subsequently sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
