A Kurdish Kolbar was injured as a result of gunfire from border forces

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: On the night of Tuesday, October 15, 2024, following the shooting by border forces at a group of kolbars at the Hangezal border in Baneh, a kolbar identified as “Rezgar Hasani” from Saqqez was seriously injured.
According to a source, Rezgar Hasani was shot in the lower back, and his spinal cord has been severely damaged. The injured kolbar was transferred to Shafa Hospital in Saqqez for medical treatment and is currently hospitalized in the ICU of this hospital.
Unemployment, poverty, and misery caused by the government’s failure to create jobs, along with the shooting of citizens, are clear violations of human rights by the government, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Iran is obligated to follow due to its signature.
