Execution of a Prisoner in Saqqez Prison

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, at dawn on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as “Jahangir Rahimi,” son of Mohammad, married, and father of one child, from Taher Baghdeh village in Saqqez County, was carried out in the central prison of Saqqez.
According to received reports, this prisoner was arrested two years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
