Two kolbars were killed and injured by Border Guard gunfire

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the afternoon of Monday, October 7, 2024, a kolbar identified as “Hossein Kamalnia,” a 38-year-old from the village of “Andizeh” in the Piranshahr region, was injured in the leg by gunfire from Border Guard forces stationed in the border areas of “Delavan.”
According to revived reports,after being shot,Hossein Kamalnia was severely beaten by one of the Border Guard forces,
Who struck him on the head with a rifle butt, causing serious injuries.
A source stated that after injuries and beating him, the Border Guard forces left the kolbar behind, and he was later found by local residents and taken to the hospital. However, due to severe bleeding and the injuries sustained, he passed away at the hospital.
At the same time, another kolbar identified as “Fardin Qalash,” from “Kohneh Khaneh” in piranshahr, was seriously injured by direct gunfire from the Border Guard forces. He was shot with live ammunition and, due to serverity of his injuries, was transferred to medical centers in the city of Orumiyeh for treatment.
