Bukan/ One-Year Prison Sentence Issued for Solmaz Hassanzadeh

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Solmaz Hassanzadeh, the sister of Mohammad Hassanzadeh, a victim of the Zhina movement, was sentenced to one year in prison for “propaganda against the Islamic Republic” by Judge Mahdi Fakhri. This sentence was communicated to Solmaz Hassanzadeh on October 30, 2023, by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court 2.
It is worth noting that she was arrested on July 30 of this year and was subsequently released on a bail of 500 million tomans.
