According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, nearly two weeks have passed since the arrest of a citizen identified as “Milad Rashidi,” a resident of Saqqez, but there is still no information on his condition or whereabouts.
Milad Rashidi, 29 years old, married, and the father of a young child, was reportedly arrested due to his social media activities and posts about the Israeli attack on Iran, according to a knowledgeable source who spoke with the Hana Human Rights Organization. This source further reported that on October 29, 2024, Milad Rashidi was detained at his workplace by security forces. Following his arrest, these forces raided his home, searching it thoroughly and confiscating personal items, including his laptop and both his and his wife’s mobile phones.
Since his detention, Milad Rashidi has only been allowed one phone call with his wife.
Despite his family’s efforts to learn about his condition and location, including their visits to security agencies, officials have provided no answers. This lack of response has caused serious concern for his family and close relatives.
