According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, in the early hours of Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the execution of a prisoner identified as “Mojtaba Ghasemi,” a resident of “Kal Kashvand Vasti” village in Harsin County, Kermanshah Province, was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.
Mojtaba Ghasemi had a young child. According to received reports, he was arrested four years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and was subsequently sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
