Statistics of Casualties Among Kolbars in July 2024

According to the statistics from the Hana Human Rights Organization, in July 2024, a total of 25 Kurdish Kolbars and tradesmen were killed or injured.
Out of the total casualties, five individuals named Ayoub Mohammadi, Kian Zini, Ehsan Nowruzi, Nazem Safari, and Asaad Afranjeh were killed by direct gunfire from government forces. Additionally, a Kolbar named Nasser Osmani lost his life after falling from the heights of the border area. In July, at least 19 Kolbars were also injured, all of whom were wounded by direct gunfire from government forces.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of 2024, 41 Kolbars have been killed, and at least 237 Kolbars have been injured.
The systematic killing of Kolbars by the border forces of the Islamic Republic has become a daily occurrence, and this impoverished segment of the population, who have resorted to this arduous and dangerous work due to unemployment and dire economic conditions, continues to suffer fatal casualties.
