Orumiyeh / Deldar Omarzadeh, a detained trader, was released on bail and sent on leave

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the afternoon of Thursday, October 3, 2024, a 30-year-old trader named “Deldar Omarzadeh,” son of Tofigh, married and father of two, originally from the village of “Delzi” in the Shapiran district of Salmas and a resident of “Poshavatz” village in Oshnavieh, was released on furlough from Orumiyeh Prison after posting bail of 5 billion tomans.
According to received reports, Deldar Omarzadeh was arrested in early April of this year by security forces on charges of smuggling goods and was subsequently sentenced to five years in prison by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
