Associates of the Hana Human Rights Organization in the city of Bukan have reported the arrest of the sister and father of Mohammad Hassan Zadeh, one of the martyrs of the Zhina Revolutionary Movement.
According to the report, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM, a large number of security and plainclothes forces raided the home of the late Mohammad Hassan Zadeh's family, violently arresting his sister, Solmaz Hassan Zadeh.
Additionally, a source informed Hana that at 1:00 PM, when Ahmad Hassan Zadeh, Mohammad's father, returned home, he was also violently arrested by the same forces and taken to an unknown location.
The source added that the security forces confiscated Solmaz and her father Ahmad Hassan Zadeh's mobile phones, and they also took the phone of Mohammad's mother.
As of the time of this report, no information is available about the reason for their arrest or their current whereabouts.
It is worth mentioning that Solmaz Hassan Zadeh was previously arrested on September 27, 2023, along with three other citizens—Sheyda Rezaei, Simin Khayaat, and her sister Shirin Khayaat—at a checkpoint on the Bukan-Saqqez road by security forces without any legal documentation. They were released after several hours of interrogation at 2:00 AM from the Bukan Intelligence Office detention center.
Solmaz Hassan Zadeh and her father, Ahmad Hassan Zadeh, were also summoned to the Bukan Intelligence Office for interrogation on September 5, 2023.
Mohammad Hassan Zadeh, 28 years old, was killed on November 16, 2022, during nationwide protests in the city of Bukan due to direct gunfire from repressive forces.
