Fardin Rostamnejad passed away after 18 months due to injuries sustained from Kolbari (border carrying).

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: Today, Friday, "September 20, 2024," Fardin Rostamnejad, 27 years old, married, a father of one, and a resident of the village of "Shamshir," a suburb of Paveh, passed away after 18 months due to injuries sustained from Kolbari (border carrying).

Fardin Rostamnejad, on Monday, “February 27, 2023,” was paralyzed while carrying goods (Kolbari) at the “Kaleh-bar” border of Nosud, due to being shot by border patrol forces.

It is worth mentioning that in recent years, Akram, Kohsar, Farshad, Fardin, and Ehsan Rostamnejad, five brothers from the village of Shamshir, a suburb of Paveh, have been injured by direct shooting or during chases by border patrol forces in the Nosud border region.

According to this report, on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Akram Rostamnejad was injured after falling from a mountain during a chase by border patrol forces. On February 2, 2024, Kohsar Rostamnejad was also wounded as a result of direct gunfire from border forces. Earlier, on May 12, 2021, Kohsar Rostamnejad and his brother Akram Rostamnejad were injured by gunfire from border forces in the Nosud border area.

Fardin Rostamnejad, a 27-year-old Kolbar who is married and has one child, was paralyzed after being shot by border forces at the Kaleh-bar border of Nosud on February 27, 2023, losing the ability to walk permanently.

In another case, on the evening of Tuesday, January 9, 2024, another family member, Farshad Rostamnejad, 33 years old, was injured by direct gunfire from border patrol forces at the Nosud border. Additionally, according to another report, “Ehsan Rostamnejad,” another brother of these four Kolbars, was shot and injured by border forces in the Nosud border region within the past two years.
