Mohammadreza Qeitrani has been sentenced to 6 months in prison.

According to Hana's colleagues, Mohammadreza Qeitrani, a 22-year-old son of Jalal, from the village of "Gerdeh Yaghoub," a suburb of Mahabad, and one of those arrested during the Zhina revolutionary movement, was sentenced to 6 months in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of this city, presided over by Judge "Doosti." He was charged with "collaboration with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government." The sentence was issued and delivered to him on Tuesday, "September 24, 2024."
Mohammad Qeitrani was arrested by security forces on "July 11, 2024" and transferred to one of the security detention centers in Orumiyeh for interrogation. After the interrogation process was completed, he was transferred to Mahabad Prison. Eventually, on "August 5, 2024," he was temporarily released from Mahabad Prison on bail of one billion tomans.
Mr. Qeitrani had previously been arrested on "September 23, 2022," during the Zhina revolutionary movement in Independence Square, Mahabad, by security forces and was released from prison after two months.
