Arrest of Two Members of a Family by Security Forces in Saqez.

According to reports from colleagues at the Hana Human Rights Organization: On Saturday, September 28, 2024, two members of a family, “Farshad Shokrollah and Semko Shokrollah,” both from Saqez, were arrested by the intelligence forces of the city.
According to a source, the arrest of these two citizens took place without judicial documentation and was carried out by intelligence forces at their personal residences.
The source added that during the arrest of these two Kurdish citizens, their personal belongings, including their mobile phones and laptops, were confiscated and taken by the forces.
Additionally, the source mentioned in an interview with Hana that Semko Shokrollah is an Iranian-Canadian citizen who was released after several hours of detention and interrogation.
According to this report, Farshad Shokrollah, the uncle of Semko Shokrollah, was transferred to Saqez prison after his arrest.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrest or the charges against these two citizens.
