A Kurdish citizen from Mahabad was arrested by security forces.

According to received reports, today, Friday, "September 20, 2024," a Kurdish citizen identified as "Taher Katani," a resident of the village of "Laj," a suburb of Mahabad, was arrested by intelligence forces.
According to a source, the arrest of Mr. Katani took place without a court warrant and was carried out in his own home by intelligence forces.
It is worth mentioning that, as of the time this report was prepared and published, there is no accurate information available regarding his whereabouts or the charges brought against this Kurdish citizen.
Taher Katani had previously been arrested by security forces on July 16, 2022.
