Execution of a Kurdish Prisoner in Ghezel Hesar Prison

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, "September 11, 2024," the death sentence of a 37-year-old Kurdish prisoner named "Sajjad Bandegi," son of Ghodratollah and a resident of Harsin, was carried out in Ghezel Hesar Prison, Karaj.
Sajjad Bandegi was a father of one child.
According to the report, he was arrested 10 years ago on charges related to "drug offenses" and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
