Two Kurdish citizens' detention at Naqadeh prison remains uncertain

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, two Kurdish citizens named 'Salam Soltani and Amir Faqeh,' residents of the village of 'Khoranj,' a district of Piranshahr, remain in an uncertain situation in Naqadeh prison for over two months.

According to received reports, these two Kurdish citizens were arrested at their homes on May 6 and May 23, 2024, without any judicial documentation by security forces. They were transferred for interrogation to one of the security detention centers in Orumieh and eventually, after the completion of the interrogation process, were moved to Naqadeh prison.

According to an informed source, Salam Soltani and Amir Faqeh have been deprived of all their human rights since their arrest.

As of the time of this report's publication, no information is available regarding the reason for the arrest of these two citizens."
