Sanandaj / Environmental Activist Saman Mirzaei Arrested by Intelligence Forces

Hana Human Rights Organization colleagues in Sanandaj have reported the arrest of environmental activist Saman Mirzaei in the city.
According to received reports: Early Thursday morning, "August 8, 2024," Saman Mirzaei, the son of Mohammad and a resident of "Sarhwyh" village in the Kalatrazan district of Sanandaj, was arrested by Sanandaj Intelligence forces.
According to a source, at 5 a.m., intelligence forces, with more than five vehicles, raided Sarhwyh village, searched Mr. Mirzaei's house without presenting judicial documents, and then arrested him, transferring him to an unknown location.
At the time of this report's publication, no information is available about the charges against this citizen or his current whereabouts.
