Press Release: NGOs Platform for Monitoring the Human Rights of Kurds in Iran Jul 30, 2024

We are pleased to announce the creation of the “NGOs Platform for Monitoring the Human Rights of Kurds in Iran – KHRMI”. This coalition has been formed by six active human rights organizations, driven by a deep sense of responsibility in this critical phase. The organizations involved are :
Kurdish World Organization
Hengaw Organization for Human Rights
Hana Human Rights Organization
Kurdistan Tribunal
Center of Reporters for Human Rights in Iranian Kurdistan
Zagros Human Rights Center
These organizations will pool their resources to achieve the platform’s goals, which are:
Facilitate communication and cooperation between active human rights organizations to promote the human rights of Kurds in Iran.
Document and report human rights violations and support the victims of these violations.
Transmit reports and documentation of human rights violations to international organizations and international courts.
Obtain the necessary support to resolve the Kurdish issue in Iran.
The platform calls for the cooperation and support of all activists, civil society organizations, and the international community to end the violations and protect the human rights of Kurds in Iran. We also urge the victims of these violations to provide evidence and testimonies to help take necessary actions against the perpetrators of these acts.
