Kamyaran: Labor activist Morteza Saeedi sentenced to two years of imprisonment

According to received reports, Morteza Saeedi, a labor activist from Kamyaran, has been sentenced to two years of imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court in Shahriar.
According to this report, Mr. Saeedi was sentenced by the Second Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Shahriar, presided over by Judge "Bahram Panahi," on charges of "forming a group with the intent to disrupt national security." This two-year prison sentence includes the time he has already spent in detention. The issued verdict was officially communicated to him on Saturday, "June 22, 2024."
The court session addressing the charges against this labor activist was held on "April 25, 2023," in the Second Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Shahriar.
Morteza Saeedi was arrested by security forces in Shahriar on Friday, "April 15, 2022," and was subsequently released on bail from Evin Prison on May 9 of the same year.
