**Arrest and Transfer of Shahram Kazemian to Urmia Prison**

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Kurdish political prisoner Shahram Kazemian, son of Fars and a resident of Urmia, was arrested by security forces in recent weeks and transferred to the central prison of this city to serve his prison sentence.
In March 2021, Shahram Kazemian was sentenced to five years of imprisonment by Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court in Urmia on charges of "collaboration with Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government." This sentence was reaffirmed in the Court of Appeal.
It is worth noting that on February 1, 2020, Kazemian was arrested by security forces in Urmia and transferred to one of the security detention centers for interrogation. After one month, following the completion of the interrogation process, he was transferred to Urmia Prison. Finally, on Sunday, April 4, 2021, he was temporarily released from Urmia Central Prison on bail of 500 million tomans.
