Three child laborers were burned with an iron by their employer

According to reports from Hana colleagues, in recent days, three child laborers were burned on their backs with a steam iron by their employers in a sewing workshop in the city of Marivan.

The identities of these three children have been confirmed by the Hana Human Rights Organization as "Nahro Khaledi, Mani Danish, and Rebin Qaderi," all from Marivan.

Nahro Khaledi, one of the children, explained that while working, a piece of fabric fell from his hands to the ground, and as he was picking it up, he accidentally bumped into the employer's table. This angered the employer, who then asked the three children, "How should I punish you?!" One of the children suggested being hit with a stick as before, but instead, the employer used a steam iron to burn part of the children's backs.

Nahro added that after the employer burned part of their bodies with the iron, they fled from him in tears.

These children had previously been subjected to abuse by this employer.

Mohammad Saleh Khaledi, Nahro's father, stated that this incident occurred 16 days ago, and they have pursued the matter legally through the Marivan judiciary and have referred to the medical examiner, awaiting the results.

Mr. Salehi also added that the employer was arrested after the incident but was released on bail after two days and is currently continuing his business in his shop.
