Execution of a Prisoner in Dieselabad Prison, Kermanshah

According to reports from the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Sunday, July 21, 2024, the execution of a prisoner named "Danial Kazemi Nejad," son of Ali Akbar and a resident of the village of "Lor" in the suburbs of Eslamabad-e-Gharb, was carried out in Dieselabad Prison, Kermanshah.
According to received reports, the execution of this prisoner was carried out without prior notice and without the right to a final visit with his family.
He was arrested on July 8, 2023, on charges of "premeditated murder" of a Basij member named "Sajad Amiri" at the Khoy border crossing and was subsequently sentenced to death by the Kermanshah Revolutionary Court.
It is worth noting that on June 11, 2023, a Basij member named "Sajadi Amiri" was killed in one of the suburbs of Kermanshah, and on July 9, 2023, government media reported the arrest of "Danial Kazemi Nejad" while he was trying to leave the country at the Khoy border crossing.
