Soraya Qeitaran has been arrested to serve her prison sentence

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Saturday, August 3, 2024, Soraya Qeitaran, a resident of "Kani Mala" village in the Piranshahr district, was arrested and transferred to Orumiyeh Prison to serve her prison sentence.
According to received reports, this Kurdish citizen was sentenced to 9 months in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in Mahabad, presided over by Judge Sajad Dousti, on charges of collaborating with one of the "Kurdish opposition parties."
It is worth noting that she was initially arrested on Monday, June 26, 2023, by security forces without a judicial warrant. After the completion of the interrogation process, she was transferred to the women's ward of Orumiyeh Prison. Eventually, on Monday, July 17, 2023, she was temporarily released from Orumieh Prison on bail until the end of the judicial process.
