According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization: On the evening of Saturday, July 27, 2024, a young woman named "Jane Chopani" from the village of "Kuzeh Rash," a suburb of Salmas, was killed by her father through suffocation due to reasons related to family honor.
Jane Chopani, 25, was married and the mother of two daughters aged four and six.
According to a knowledgeable source, Jane had recently become acquainted with a person named N.P. from the village. After videos and photos were published by her brother-in-law, she was killed by her father.
