Masoud Hajizadeh is transferred from solitary confinement to the general ward at Urmia prison

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization from the central prison of Urmia: On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Masoud Hajizadeh, a Kurdish political prisoner, was transferred to the general ward of Urmia prison after 10 days in solitary confinement.
Masoud Hajizadeh went on a hunger strike at noon on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in protest against his transfer to solitary confinement, the filing of a new case, and the non-sending of medical leave.
Officials of the prison of the Islamic Republic of Urmia have prepared a new case against this political prisoner and sent it to the judicial system of the Islamic Republic with the testimony of several prisoners of dangerous crimes.
