Reza Babarnezhad Re-arrested and Transferred to Quchan Prison

Hana: On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Reza Babarnezhad, the brother of Mehdi Babarnezhad, who was one of the casualties of the Zhina Revolutionary Movement in Quchan, was re-arrested by security forces and subsequently transferred to Quchan Prison.
Mr. Babarnezhad had been initially arrested on Monday, May 20, 2024, by security forces at his personal residence due to an Instagram story he posted regarding the death of Ebrahim Raisi. He was temporarily released from Quchan Prison on Saturday, June 1, 2024, on bail.
As of the time of this report, there is no information available about the charges against him.
