Case Fabrication and Re-Summoning of Heyman Khastan, Detained Activist from the Zhina Revolutionary Movement

According to received reports, Heyman Khastan, a civil activist and detainee from the Zhina Revolutionary Movement, has been re-summoned by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court on charges of "propaganda against the regime" and activity in opposition groups. He has been called to appear before Branch 2 of the city's Revolutionary Court.

This new summons, dated May 18, 2024, has been registered in the Sana judicial system, instructing the activist to present himself to Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court. Failure to comply will result in an arrest warrant being issued against him.

Heyman Khastan was initially arrested on October 2, 2022, in Sanandaj during the Zhina Revolutionary Movement. After 25 days in the custody of the city's Intelligence Department, he was released on bail of 500 million tomans.

Mr. Khastan was previously sentenced by the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court to three years, six months, and one day in prison on charges of "acting against national security and insulting the founder of the Islamic Republic."

It is worth noting that Heyman Khastan was forced to leave Iran a year ago due to pressure and threats from security agencies.
