Marivan / Detention of two other citizens by security agencies

Hana: On Wednesday, April 7, two Kurdish citizens were arrested by security forces in the village of Ney in the Marivan district.

These Kurdish citizens, one of whom is identified as "Mohammad Parvazeh" from the village of "Ney" and the other as "Ribvar Parvazeh", have been arrested for participating in the Nowruz ceremony.

Earlier, six other citizens of Ney village were detained by security forces and are now in an unknown situation.

These citizens, whose identities are Siavash Bamdad, Jamal Gerami, Salman Afra, Sivan Parto, and Aram Nikpai, have been charged with participating in the Nowruz ceremony, but have been charged with collaborating with parties.

All of these citizens have been arbitrarily arrested and detained without the permission of the court, and their arbitrary detention is a violation of human rights law. In addition, membership in political parties and participation in the Nowruz celebrations are among the most basic human rights.
