Kurdish prisoner of conscience "Farhad Salimi" is transferred to solitary confinement for execution

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: On Sunday, January 21, 2024, Farhad Salimi, a prisoner of conscience, son of Majid, from Saqqez, was transferred to the solitary cell of Qezalhasar prison in Karaj after 14 years of imprisonment to execute the death sentence.
Farhad Salimi was arrested by security forces along with six Sunni citizens named Anwar Khazri, Qasim Absta, Dawood Abdullahi, Ayoub Karimi from Mahabad, Kamran Sheikha and Khosrow Basharat in December 2009.
It should be mentioned that three of Farhad Salimi's co-accused named "Gasem Absta, Ayoub Karimi and Dawood Abdollahi" were executed on November 5, and 29, 2023 and January 1, 2024, after 14 years of imprisonment in Qazalhasar prison in Karaj.
