A report of mass arrests in the cities of Oshnavieh and Piranshahr.

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, during the past two weeks, from April 20, 2024, until now, at least 19 Kurdish citizens were arbitrarily and without a court order arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the cities of Piranshahr and Oshnavieh and transferred to unknown places. Most of those arrested were arrested in connection with Nowruz ceremonies.

The identity of all the detainees has been verified for the Hana human rights organization, which include:
Fakhreddin Modaresi from the village of De Shams of Oshnavieh, Hadi Laweh, a Kurdish artist from Oshnavieh, Ako Ebrahimi from Alkawi village of Oshnavieh, Mohammad Sultanpour from De Shams village of Oshnavieh, Ghafoor Sheikh Mohammadi from Aliabad village of Oshnavieh, Jafar Rasouli from Oshnavieh, Hesamuddin Mahmoudi from Kani Sark village from Oshnavieh district, Salah Qazi from Gandavila village from Oshnavieh district, Yusuf Haji Khosh from Kohneh Qala village from Oshnavieh district, Hassan Rasouli from Hassan Nouran village from Oshnavieh district, Mawlod Rosta from the Hassan Nooran village of Oshnavieh,  Omid Rashid Pak from Ali Abad village of Oshnavieh, Rahim Afei from Oshnavieh, Arman Ebrahimi from Alkawi village from Oshnavieh, Hossein Bayzidi from Piranshahr district, Somayeh Qadiri from Gazgesak village from Piranshahr district, Mohammad Moradi from Bikos village from Piranshahr, Salam Soltani from Khoranj village of Piranshahr and Hadi Yusufpour from Piranshahr.
