Temporary cancellation of Saman Yassin's death sentence

Hana: With the pressure of international and human rights institutions on the government of the Islamic Republic, the Supreme Court of the Government has announced that the death sentence of "Saman Yassin" has been canceled due to violations in the investigation and the case has been referred to the court for reconsideration.
It should be noted that during the past few days, Kurdish artist Saman Yassin, who was sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic, committed suicide.
This artist committed suicide by taking pills in Rajaee-shahr prison and after washing his stomach in the prison infirmary, he was returned to the general ward.
It should be remembered that this Kurdish artist was arrested on Monday, October 2, 2022, during nationwide protests in Tehran, and during the detention period, he was subjected to severe physical and mental torture and was accused of war against God (muhariba).
